Went to Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Mt. Tambourine (if you ever know where that place is) .<br />The weather there is sunny (HOT!!), but surprisingly, i did not perspire um..<br /><br />11-day self-drive holiday in Australia. Touched down on 18th Nov at Brisbane International Airport. Drove to Goldcoast and stayed 5 nights at one of the apartment in Surfers' Paradise. Surfers' Beach was fantastic. Cool! Visited the Movie World, Sea World, National Park, Winneries, etc. However, the movie world cannot be compared with the Disneylands that i had visited in Japan and USA. I like the Japan Disneyland best. Hope to go there again. On the 6th day, Dad drove up to Mt Tamborine. Stayed in one of the beautiful cottages. Scenic drive. Had BBQ that night. Very Memorable! Next drove to Sunshine Coast. Stayed in one of the town called Calundra for the next 3 nights. our apartment overlooked the Ocean. Beautiful, especially when i sat at the balcony and taking breakfast at the same time admiring the view. Visited The Big Pineappe, Superbee Honey Factory, Ginger Factory, Underwaterworld, the famous Eumundi market. Also went to the beautiful towns at Maleny and Montvile where dad bought an antique clock. Dad stopped by as and when he came across scenic view for tourists and snap some beautiful shots. I would say sunshine coast is a more picturesque and scenic place. Vistied almost all of the towns in Sunshine coast. Cool! Dad promised to go New Zealand next year end... Ha! looking forward to it.
